Position Overview
The Clinical Investigator will play a key role in both the clinical and research missions of the Breast Oncology program. This physician will provide outstanding patient care while contributing to the development and execution of clinical and translational research initiatives focused on improving outcomes for patients with breast cancer.
The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical expertise in Medical Oncology with a passion for advancing research, participating in clinical trials, and collaborating across disciplines to drive innovation in cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients within the Breast Oncology program
- Participate in and lead clinical and translational research initiatives
- Support development and execution of clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies
- Collaborate with internal and external research teams on basic, translational, and clinical oncology projects
- Contribute to academic and educational missions through teaching and mentorship
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Engage in scholarly activity, publications, and academic advancement opportunities
Qualifications Required
- MD or MD/PhD required
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong clinical expertise in Breast Oncology
- Interest in clinical and/or translational research
Preferred
- Experience participating in oncology clinical trials
- Academic or research-focused background
- Interest in translational science and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Prior teaching or mentorship experience within academic medicine
Pay: $255,670.00 - $534,220.00 per year
