Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or Sigma that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership
- Write complex, optimized SQL queries to extract data from Snowflake or BigQuery, ensuring high performance and data accuracy
- Collaborate with analytics engineers to define data requirements and logic for dbt models, maintaining the 'single source of truth' for business metrics
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for revenue optimization or cost reduction
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical projects, delivering findings through clear visualizations and executive-level summaries
- Establish and monitor data quality alerts to identify upstream pipeline failures or logic drifts before they impact downstream reporting
- 3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering within a fast-paced technology environment
- Expert-level SQL skills, including proficiency with window functions, complex joins, and CTEs for large-scale data manipulation
- Hands-on experience with modern BI tools such as Looker (LookML), Tableau, or Mode, including dashboard design and performance tuning
- Foundational knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis and data automation tasks
- Proven ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and influence product or operational strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- Bonus: Experience with dbt (data build tool), version control via Git, or working within a Snowflake/AWS ecosystem
