The administrator manages the lifecycle of healthcare compliance, provider relations, and billing operations. This position is critical for scaling healthcare services while maintaining the integrity of electronic health record (EHR) systems and optimizing the revenue cycle management (RCM) process.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardize and audit healthcare administrative workflows to ensure 100% compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and SOC2 requirements across all digital platforms
- Manage vendor relationships with EHR providers and third-party billing clearinghouses, resolving technical data discrepancies and integration bottlenecks
- Analyze healthcare utilization data and operational KPIs using SQL and visualization tools like Tableau to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Lead the implementation of new clinical service lines by coordinating between legal, engineering, and clinical teams to establish credentialing and coding protocols
- Direct the credentialing and enrollment process for multi-state provider groups, ensuring continuous eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer networks
- Draft and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident response, patient data access requests, and internal compliance training modules
- 4–7 years of experience in healthcare administration, health operations, or a related management role within a US-based healthcare entity
- Proven proficiency in managing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth at an administrative level
- Deep understanding of US healthcare regulations, including HIPAA privacy rules, CPT/ICD-10 coding standards, and CMS reimbursement policies
- Experience using data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, or BI platforms) to monitor operational performance and financial health
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; MHA or MBA is preferred
- Bonus: Professional certifications such as CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive) or CPCO (Certified Professional Compliance Officer)
