This is not just a generic Project Manager or Business Analyst. The ERP Product Manager is the bridge between business users (Finance, HR, Registrar, Procurement) and ERP technical teams/vendors. The candidate will own the ERP roadmap, drive projects (upgrades, implementations, integrations), ensure compliance, and manage vendors.
ERP Systems to Match: Must have experience in at least one major ERP (Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, Salesforce). Banner is a big plus since it’s common in universities.
Certifications: PMP
- Bachelor’s in IT/Business (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years working directly with ERP systems.
- Proven ERP Product Management/Ownership (roadmap, features, upgrades, integration).
- Experience in university ERP environments (finance, HR, registrar, procurement workflows).
- Hands-on ERP platforms like Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, Salesforce.
- Strong project management (leading ERP upgrades/implementations).
- PMP certified
- Business process mapping, stakeholder management, compliance (FERPA, HIPAA).
- Vendor management (ERP vendors/consultants).
- Strong communicator – able to talk with deans, registrars, finance heads, IT, and vendors.
- Problem solver with proven ability to optimize ERP usage in higher-ed.

Pay: $52.94 - $63.75 per hour
