Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, tools, and materials around the site
- Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, drywall, stucco, and other building components according to safety standards and specifications
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, fastening, and shaping materials
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for everyone on-site
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Experience with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and formwork construction
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
- Knowledge of masonry, roofing, drywall installation, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, restoration work, and heavy lifting techniques
- Understanding of construction estimating principles and safety protocol adherence
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Experience working on diverse construction projects including renovations and new builds within a construction site environment

Pay: $23.84 - $28.71 per hour
