If you are tired of the burnt-out facility life. Try self-direction caregiving. Self direction is caregiving in home for members that are their own employer. It is one on one care and companionship. Community horizons is assisting members find care for themselves so they can stay in their own homes.
Position Details
- Wage: $16.32/hour
- Schedule:
- Every other weekend: Saturday & Sunday – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Backup as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Safe transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Showering assistance (2 days per week) and daily sponge baths
- Dressing and personal care support
- Medication administration
- Emptying urinals and providing colostomy care
- Light cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Running errands and driving a wheelchair-accessible van (valid driver’s license required)
