Role Description
The Associate Attorney role is a full-time, on-site position based in Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves providing legal advice on a variety of matters, including business formation, labor and employment law, corporate litigation, and estate planning. Responsibilities include conducting thorough legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, negotiating on behalf of clients, and representing clients in legal proceedings when needed. As an Associate Attorney, you will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Minimum Target: 1600 billable hours per year, 65-75% utilization rate.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge in Law, with a focus on Litigation.
- Proficient in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough legal Research
- Strong Negotiation and advocacy skills
- Licensed attorney in the state of Michigan and in good standing with the State Bar
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in business formation, corporate litigation, real estate, or estate planning is an advantage
