PMO Coach / Project Manager III — Digital Portfolio Management Office
We're looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager who's equally comfortable running Agile ceremonies, facilitating training, and influencing senior stakeholders. This is a highly visible, high-impact role at the center of a Digital PMO, with three core areas of ownership.
What You'll Own
- PMO Continuous Enhancements — Act as Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Change Agent for ongoing PMO improvement initiatives. Manage the product roadmap, groom the backlog, facilitate monthly PMO meetings, and maintain process documentation including the SDLC diagram, Process Guide, and Project Checklist
- Onboarding Program — Own and deliver the full onboarding program for incoming Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Project Analysts. Facilitate six monthly training sessions plus a capstone course, track attendance, collect feedback, and continuously improve program materials
- Operational Readiness Review Board (ORRB) — Serve as Process Owner, lead all ORRB meetings, onboard new members, and collaborate with PMs on submission materials
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required
- Significant enterprise-level IT project management experience
- Strong command of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Excellent financial management skills — forecasting, labor planning, accruals, and budgeting
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings, delivering training, and presenting to varied audience
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with a genuine passion for developing others
- Exceptional communication skills across all levels — technical teams through executive leadership
- Hands-on Jira experience
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal direction - a Self Starter
Nice to Have
- PMP certification
- Formal training, facilitation, or instructional experience
- PMO governance or Operational Readiness Review Board (ORRB) exposure
- Experience maintaining process documentation and template libraries
- Familiarity with Microsoft Planner and the broader Microsoft 365 suite
