- Own pre-season and in-season financial planning and forecasting for the Amazon division, ensuring alignment with company objectives and sales, margin, and inventory turn targets.
- Build and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly merchandise financial plans across categories and channels.
- Develop long-range planning models to support growth goals and scenario planning.
- Lead seasonal buy planning and merchandise assortment strategies in partnership with the Buying and Merchandising teams.
- Translate business and merchandising strategies into SKU-level buy plans, incorporating trend forecasts, marketing plans, size curves, and promotional cadences.
- Oversee inventory health and turn performance, implementing demand forecasts and inventory flow strategies to mitigate stock-outs and reduce excess.
- Lead replenishment strategies and monitor open-to-buy performance by category and channel.
- Monitor in-season performance, analyzing sales, margin, sell-through, returns, and key KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
- Guide markdown and promotional strategies to optimize profitability and inventory productivity.
- Implement planning best practices, tools, and systems to enhance team effectiveness and decision-making.
- Partner with key stakeholders in E-commerce, Finance, Logistics, and Marketing to ensure coordinated execution of planning strategies.
- Present insights, forecasts, and action plans to senior leadership and provide guidance to merchandising and planning teams.
- 8–10 years of progressive planning experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Deep expertise in merchandise planning, retail math, forecasting, and financial modeling, preferably in a DTC or Amazon footwear/apparel environment.
- Demonstrated success managing a planning team and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and ERP/merchandise planning systems.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to interpret complex data and translate into strategic insights.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
