- Develop and manage HR policies, tools, and workflows to support a high-performing, values-aligned workforce.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee development across both corporate and retail teams.
- Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and growth, partnering with leadership to promote long-term employee retention and career development.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to team leads and a trusted advisor to employees at all levels.
- Drive consistency in employee experience by owning 30/60/90-day plans, feedback frameworks, and recognition programs.
- Own HR compliance, ensuring all practices align with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Partner with external counsel to oversee broader legal functions, including contract reviews, policy updates, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure the company remains compliant with applicable labor regulations, consumer protection laws, and franchising guidelines.
- Maintain and regularly update legal documentation, including employment contracts, company policies, and required filings.
- Manage company-wide insurance renewals (e.g., general liability, workers’ compensation), coordinating with brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee general office operations and serve as the point person for workspace needs, supplies, and employee experience in the physical office.
- Coordinate equipment set-up and management (e.g., laptops, monitors, docking stations) for new hires and existing team members.
- Liaise with external IT providers to troubleshoot basic issues, manage hardware inventory, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all office processes and environments reflect the company’s culture and values, creating a welcoming and efficient workplace.
- Serve as the point person for onboarding and offboarding logistics, including systems access and IT coordination.
- Own benefits administration, employee inquiries, and annual open enrollment processes.
- Manage leaves of absence and accommodation requests with consistency and discretion.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, culture-building efforts, and organizational planning.
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a high-growth consumer or retail business.
- Proven success building and managing HR systems in an environment without a large support team.
- Strong working knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and legal document management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Gusto), ATS tools (e.g., Greenhouse), and Google Workspace preferred.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
