Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails and beverages with flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about ingredients, and enhance their overall experience
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist in ordering ingredients to keep the bar fully stocked for busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Collaborate with team members during events such as nightclub nights or banquets to deliver seamless service in high-energy settings
- Uphold responsible serving policies by recognizing signs of intoxication and managing serving limits appropriately
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, brewing processes, and beverage presentation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving protocols
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred; experience in catering or retail math is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days
