Cocktail Server

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of drink options to enhance guest choices.
• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless transactions.
• Upsell premium drinks and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent guest relations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, glassware, and serving stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with food service when needed by bussing tables or supporting kitchen staff during busy hours.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately using POS systems like OpenTable for reservations and guest management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management.
• Demonstrated skills in upselling beverages and enhancing guest experiences through excellent customer service.
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Experience with food preparation, bartending techniques, or culinary background is a plus.
• Effective communication skills to engage guests positively and coordinate with team members seamlessly.
