Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and sanitation duties to ensure a hygienic environment
- Support retail sales transactions by engaging with customers positively and providing excellent service
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Willingness to learn POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts
