Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food safety practices including proper food handling, storage, and rotation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and accurate cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
