What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Staff position at SB & COMPANY LLC?
Essential Functions:
- Preparing individual, partnership, corporate, and exempt tax returns
- Working as a team member on tax engagements
- Interact successfully with clients & other employees
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting or other related program.
- At least two-years successful experience preparing tax returns (S-Corp, C-Corp, 990’s)
- A basic understanding of tax law
- Successful experience within public accounting
- Prefer candidate to have a goal of obtaining CPA license in foreseeable future
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office
- Adaptability
- Prioritizing and being accountable for multiple tasks
- Take appropriate actions without being asked
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
