What You’ll Do
As a CNA at Sayre Health Care Center, you will play an important role in helping our residents feel comfortable, respected, and cared for every day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Helping residents with meals, mobility, and transfers
- Taking and recording vital signs if requested
- Answering call lights and responding to residents’ needs
- Observing residents and reporting changes to the nursing team
- Providing companionship, encouragement, and compassionate care
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Working together with nurses and fellow team members to provide excellent care
What We’re Looking For
- A current Pennsylvania CNA certification
- A caring, dependable, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, compassion, and respect for residents
- A commitment to providing high-quality care
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
