Say Yes for Less Bridal Salon is an intimate, appointment-only bridal boutique in Potomac, MD, specializing in thoughtfully curated gowns and personalized styling experiences. We pride ourselves on offering brides a warm, elevated, and highly individualized journey as they find the dress for one of life’s most meaningful moments.
The Role
We are seeking a poised, service-driven Bridal Sales Associate to join our boutique team. This role is ideal for someone who values refined customer service, enjoys building genuine connections, and understands the art of guiding a bride through a confident, joyful “yes” moment.
Availability Expectations
- Weekend availability is required 11:00 am to 6:00 pm(some flexibility)
- Weekday evening availability is required Tuesday–Friday 5:00 to 8:00 pm (some flexibility)
- As we are an appointment-only salon, scheduling is based on bookings and hours are not guaranteed
Compensation
- $16 per hour or 10% commission — whichever is greater
- Gowns start at $1,000 ($100 commission) and go up to $5,000 ($500 commission)
- Appointments are 1 hour long.
- Earning potential of $100 an hour and up
- Commission potential tied directly to sales performance
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a personalized, elevated bridal styling experience during appointments
Thoughtfully guide brides through gown selection, fit, and styling options
Create a calm, welcoming, and celebratory environment for brides and their guests
Consistently work toward and achieve individual and salon sales goals
Maintain the boutique’s visual standards, cleanliness, and organization
Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled
Accurately process sales and follow established salon procedures
Collaborate with the team to uphold a polished, professional atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or client-facing roles (bridal or luxury retail preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, polished demeanor
- Sales-minded with an appreciation for commission-based incentives
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable assisting brides with gowns and standing for extended periods
- Weekend and evening availability required
