Couture bridal salon in Georgetown seeks an experienced lead sales associate to join the team as an Assistant Manager. Job Type: Full-time; In-person; Saturday hours mandatory

Compensation: Salary plus commission

Qualifications
- At least two years of luxury retail sales experience; 3-5 years preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Business, Communications, or other job-related degree
- Must be self-starter but also able to work in a team setting
- Luxury fashion & retail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Confident with new software and technologies; BridalLive experience a plus
- Empathy and patience for others; warm and outgoing personality
- Ability to learn and grow as you go
Role & Responsibilities
- Supporting upper management in increasing the overall performance of the store
- Lead the team in generating sales through exceptional client relations and product knowledge while acting as an ambassador for the store
- Lead the team in achieving personal and store sales goals
- Lead team by example, demonstrating the highest level of service for a luxury brand while cultivating new and existing clients
- Motivate the sales team through the creation of a fun work environment
- Understand potential client desires through trend forecasting
- Complete operational and administrative processes necessary to a retail business
- Collaborate with buying team twice annually to determine buying new collections
- Travel to New York City to meet with designers and view bridal collections
