About the Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing leader in building services and energy solutions currently undergoing a major sales transformation. We are seeking a EVP of Sales to take the helm of the sales organization, architecting its next stage of national leadership. This is a strategic executive role with high visibility, reporting directly to executive leadership. What You’ll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Directly manage and mentor a team of 8 sales representatives and 2 to 3 regional leaders. You will shape the national sales organization by recruiting top talent and transforming skilled account managers into proactive, consultative hunters.
- Drive Aggressive Growth: Take full ownership of scaling a $200M business with a consistent 10% year over year growth target. Your strategy will blend organic expansion with the successful integration of M&A activities to diversify revenue streams and capture new markets.
- Champion Consultative Selling: Shift the organization from transactional selling to a model built on long term, trust based partnerships24242424242424. You will personally build and strengthen C suite relationships with enterprise real estate firms and Fortune 500 clients.
- Transform the Culture: Lead the charge in transitioning to an account based, solution driven sales methodology across all regions. You will implement best in class processes, KPIs, and standards to instill a culture of accountability and peak performance.
- Own the Numbers: Command the entire sales pipeline with rigorous, data driven insights. You will deliver accurate forecasting and strategic refinements to optimize execution and deliver predictable revenue growth.
What You Bring
- Extensive Experience: 15 years of sales leadership experience within the ESCO, construction, building products, or energy services industries.
- A Proven Growth Track Record: Demonstrated ability to scale revenue from $100M to over $300M through a combination of organic growth and M&A.
- Transformational Leadership: Experience successfully evolving a sales organization from a transactional approach to a sophisticated, consultative model.
- An Executive Network: An established, C suite level network with enterprise real estate and facilities management firms.
- Operational Discipline: Strong command of KPI management, pipeline oversight, and a compelling leadership presence.
- Commitment: You are based in NYC or are willing to relocate for a hybrid role that includes national travel.
This Role Will Not Be a Fit If You
- Prefer maintaining the status quo over driving hands on cultural and strategic transformation.
- Are uncomfortable taking full ownership of a 10% YOY growth target in a dynamic, M&A driven environment.
- Lack C suite consultative selling experience.
- Come from software/SaaS only, small ticket, or transactional/short cycle sales backgrounds.
- Have no exposure to building products, construction, ESCO, or energy services industries.
- Are unwilling to relocate and / or commit to a hybrid schedule in New York City.
