Job Overview
Sawtooth Landworks is looking to bring back our Luxury Landscape Division. Hours may fluctuate some in the first couple weeks until we have work lined up. We are a high end excavation company looking for the right candidate to manage and grow a Landscape/Hardscape Division. This is starting this month, it will be a growing process. It is an opportunity to take it and build it how you envision it. The right candidate will be a well experienced leader who can perform sales, some design work, lead a small crew onsite and work alongside them and manage a landscape division. This job is seasonal. Work may continue most of the year but there may be no work for 1-3 months per year over the winter.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscape construction projects, including irrigation management, hardscape installation, and tree/plant installation, ensuring timely and quality completion
- Manage and lead a crew of landscaping professionals, providing clear direction, training, and support for daily tasks
- Identify plants, trees, and horticultural elements to ensure longevity and aesthetic appeal
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles for site visits and project transportation
- Develop new client relationships through proactive sales calls, site visits, and consultations to promote landscaping services
- Prepare detailed project estimates, proposals, and quotes tailored to client needs
- Oversee irrigation systems installation and maintenance to optimize water efficiency and landscape health
- Maintain safety standards on-site by enforcing proper equipment operation and outdoor work protocols
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, provide expert advice on landscape design options, and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising landscaping or hardscaping teams with strong crew management skills
- Extensive outdoor work experience in landscape installation, hardscape construction, and horticulture practices
- Knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, irrigation systems (including irrigation management), and grounds equipment operation
- Demonstrated sales ability with experience in developing client relationships and preparing project estimates
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects at once
- Construction experience related to construction projects or similar environments is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in outdoor settings
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward customer service and team collaboration

Pay: $27.21 - $40.00 per hour
