Landscape Estimator / Sales Consultant

About One Landscape
One Landscape is a growing landscape construction company serving the Treasure Valley. We specialize in residential and commercial landscape projects, including paver patios, retaining walls, irrigation, sod, artificial turf, planting, drainage, and complete outdoor living spaces.
We’re looking for an experienced Landscape Estimator / Sales Consultant who enjoys meeting with clients, developing accurate estimates, and helping customers bring their projects to life.
This position is primarily focused on estimating and sales. While some simple design work may occasionally be needed, we’re not looking for a landscape architect or someone creating elaborate landscape plans. We’re looking for someone who understands how landscape projects are built and can confidently turn ideas into accurate proposals.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with homeowners, builders, and commercial clients to discuss project goals.
- Visit job sites to gather measurements and assess existing conditions.
- Read landscape plans and perform quantity takeoffs.
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Create professional proposals and present them to clients.
- Follow up with prospective customers and help guide projects through the sales process.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure a smooth handoff after projects are sold.
- Assist with simple landscape layouts or design revisions when needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication and excellent service.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in landscape estimating, landscape construction, project management, or landscape sales.
- Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read plans and perform accurate takeoffs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license.

- Retaining walls

- Planting
- Sod and artificial turf

- Outdoor living spaces
- Estimating software
- AutoCAD or similar design software
