Job Overview
Join our team as an Entry-Level Warehouse / Shipping / CNC Operator. This hands-on role is an opportunity to develop skills across warehouse operations, shipping logistics, and CNC machining. Work Environment
- Primarily a warehouse and shop environment, with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and varying noise levels
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
- Regular handling of materials, tools, and finished products
- Required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) worn when applicable
- Both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas, depending on task and location in the shop
- Follows established safety protocols and participates in ongoing safety training
- Coordinates workflow with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
Skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while following supervisor instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and ability to prioritize workload
- Effective communication with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Basic problem-solving in a shop or warehouse environment
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures
What You'll Do
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Measure, cut, or prepare products using shop equipment (training provided)
- Label, pack, and stage products for shipment
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Restock shelves and maintain organized storage areas
- Clean machines, floors, and workstations daily
- Move materials and finished products using carts, dollies, or pallet jacks
- Follow written and verbal instructions from the Shop Manager or other supervisors
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately
Tools and Technology
- Cold saw grinding machines (training provided)
- Basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, Allen keys)
- Measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, rulers)
- Packaging equipment (tape guns, label printers, box cutters)
- Warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, dollies)
- Cleaning tools (brooms, shop vacuums, rags)
- Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection)
- Computer or tablet for basic data entry, order tracking, and label printing
