Role Description
This is a Remote role. The Assistant Editor will assist in the editing and production of digital and video content, ensuring projects meet creative and technical requirements. Daily responsibilities include supporting the post-production team, managing media assets, organizing project files, handling revisions, and collaborating with editors, producers, and other creative team members to deliver high-quality content. Demonstrating strong attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong organizational and media management skills
- Knowledge in color correcting, sound editing, and motion graphics is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and follow creative direction
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Relevant experience in digital content or video production is preferred
- Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is a plus
