$1500 BONUS based on full-time status. 2 SLPA positions, one in Queen Creek AZ, one in Glendale, AZ. Exciting career opportunity for an SLPA. East Valley in a home health position, Glendale in a hybrid school/home health position. Savvy Speech is a supportive company with supervision needs to be met for the new or seasoned therapist. Already has a caseload of 18-20 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Work primarily with pediatric clients with developmental delays or other special needs
  • Services to take place in home therapy. Locations vary.
  • Design and then Implement individual/small group therapy sessions according to SLP's goals/objectives per the client/student
  • Provide treatment within the client's home/school environment
  • Maintain professional knowledge with current best practices via continuing education
  • Guaranteed hours with a balance of DDD hours based on family and therapist availability.
  • Competitive hourly rates, based on candidate needs
  • Provide direct therapy assistance to students and clients identified by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) following written therapy plans or protocols developed by the SLP
  • Assist the SLP with informal documentation as directed by the SLP.
  • Document student progress toward meeting established objectives as stated in the therapy plan, IEP or protocol and report this information to the SLP.
  • Assist the SLP in the collecting and tallying of data for assessment purposes
  • Prepare and process record keeping and materials necessary for documentation to convey information to appropriate parties
  • Regular and on-time attendance required
  • Prepare necessary homework and therapy materials as directed by SLP.
  • Collaborate with other professionals as directed by SLP.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as assigned by SLP.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
