Assistant Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Contract Position

Position Overview
We are seeking Assistant Speech-Language Pathologists to provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients with a variety of communication needs, including speech delays, articulation disorders, language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, social communication challenges, fluency disorders, feeding concerns, and childhood apraxia of speech.
This position also offers the opportunity Supervision hours in accordance with ASHA and state supervision guidelines.

Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services
- Treat pediatric clients with a variety of communication disorders and developmental differences
- Address articulation, expressive/receptive language, social communication, fluency, AAC, feeding, and motor speech needs as appropriate
- Implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each child’s learning style and sensory needs
- Collaborate with families and caregivers regarding treatment progress and home strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and session notes
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with ASHA and state licensing requirements
Administrative Expectations
This position is intentionally designed to minimize administrative burden on therapists.
Therapists are only responsible for:
- Completing and submitting session documentation/therapy notes in a timely manner
- Maintaining active licensure and professional credentials
- Clinical supervision responsibilities if supervising SLPAs
Scheduling, billing, intake coordination, insurance, client communication, and operational support are handled internally.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered for non-supervisory roles
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Passion for helping children and families
