What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Savory?
We are looking for a Marketing Manager who'll lead and supervise digital campaigns, advertising, creative projects, and new go-to-market strategy. The Marketing Manager's responsibilities include
- developing plans to help establish our brand,
- allocating resources to different projects, and
- setting short-term and long-term department goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5 years of relevant marketing experience
- 3 years of successful and progressive management experience
- Experience in content creation, SOE, Email, and PPC
- Experience and knowledge in segmentation, data enhancement, attribution, optimization,
- and B2B demand generation best practices
- Proficient in Google Analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives across all Savory brands
- Create and adhere to monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the marketing department
- Train and manage part of the marketing team
- Assist in set, monitor, and report on team goals
- Design branding, positioning, and pricing strategies for all Savory brands
- Ensure Savory brand messages are solid and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (events, email campaigns, web pages, and promotional material)
- Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
- Analyze consumer behavior and determine target customers
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
- Stay current on market trends and new research and implement accordingly.
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Present ideas and final deliverables to senior leaders and communicate on marketing programs and strategies
- Assist with other duties as assigned by upper management
