The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated self-starter and senior leader to join our growing team as Director of Growth Marketing. As Savi’s first senior marketing hire, you’ll own the full marketing function. You'll manage one current team member and build toward a full-funnel growth engine.
Our business model is B2B2C: we sell Savi to employers and membership organizations, who then offer this benefit to their employees with student loan debt. Growth lives at that second step, converting employees and members into active Savi users.. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing the strategies that get end users to register, complete their profile, and take meaningful action on their loans.

Responsibilities Include:
- User Growth and Conversion: Own the end-user funnel from benefit launch to active enrollment. Design lifecycle email strategy and multi-channel campaigns that drive registration. Build on the email foundation already in place and layer in paid, social, and content initiatives to activate users at a reasonable cost
- Brand and Awareness: Own Savi’s brand presence, including SEO and AEO strategy, content, and earned media. Sustain and build on Savi’s strong press momentum. Every brand investment should connect back to trust, discoverability, and conversion.
- Client Enablement Marketing: Work with our Partnerships and Implementation teams to drive activations. Equip HR leaders, benefits teams, and membership organizations with launch campaigns, collateral, and communications that drive benefit adoption among their employees and members.
- Data, Analytics, and Team Leadership: Own marketing analytics, Build growth models, set and track KPIs, run A/B tests, and present data-driven insights to leadership. Manage and develop the existing Growth Marketing Manager. As needed, build the case for future team growth.
- Must be able to work within a small marketing budget
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in B2C growth marketing or performance marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
- Experience in a startup is a must
- Experience in: partnership marketing. You understand how to market through a business client to reach and engage an end user (employee, member, or customer)
- Proven track record designing and executing successful multi-channel campaigns with demonstrable results in user growth and conversion
- Fluency across the marketing stack: lifecycle email, SEO and AEO, paid acquisition (LinkedIn, Meta, Google), and content
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (Customer.io, HubSpot, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable building growth models, tracking funnel metrics, and presenting data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Startup orientation: energized by building, able to prioritize with limited resources, and honest about trade-offs
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear insights and drive alignment across teams

Savi Benefits:
- D.C. based is preferred as our team’s hybrid homebase is at the Midtown Center DC WeWork location. Remote is accommodatable as well.

- $110,000-140,000 OTE (base commission)
