Senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager – Hyperscale Construction

Location: Hutto, Texas

Salary Range: $135,000–$155,000 annually

SAVI EHS is supporting the search for an experienced Senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager to provide leadership for a major hyperscale construction project in Hutto, Texas.

This position requires a senior safety professional capable of leading project-wide EHS strategy, advising project leadership, and working directly with owners, clients, contractors, and trade partners. The successful candidate will bring a strong field-safety foundation combined with the leadership presence and communication skills needed to represent the EHS function at the project and client level.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level EHS leadership and oversight across project operations
• Serve as a primary EHS representative when working with owners, clients, executive project leadership, contractors, and trade partners
• Establish and maintain project-wide safety expectations, accountability, and performance standards
• Provide leadership and direction to site safety personnel and contractor safety representatives
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, client standards, and company EHS programs
• Conduct field observations, audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Review job hazard analyses and safety plans for high-risk construction activities
• Lead serious-incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective-action development
• Track and present EHS performance metrics, leading indicators, trends, and areas of concern
• Identify and escalate critical risks while developing practical corrective actions
• Coach project leadership and contractors to strengthen safety ownership and continuous improvement
• Support project onboarding, safety meetings, training, and related EHS initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of safety management experience
• Previous experience in a senior safety leadership position with responsibility for project-wide EHS performance
• Demonstrated hyperscale construction experience
• Experience managing EHS performance across multiple contractors and trade partners
• Experience communicating directly with owners, clients, and executive project leadership
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, industry standards, and high-risk operations
• Proven ability to lead safety personnel, influence field operations, and make critical safety decisions
• Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite in Hutto, Texas, throughout the project assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health, construction management, or a related field
• Additional BCSP or other recognized professional safety credentials
• Experience supporting hyperscale data center construction
• Experience leading EHS programs on large, complex projects with significant contractor activity

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:

• Annual salary of $135,000–$155,000
