The Vice President, Central Operations provides strategic leadership, corporate direction, and fiscal responsibility and accountability for the Central Operations group. This includes store labor efficiencies, , front wall services, safety and loss prevention, facilities maintenance, retail operations project management, and store communications. Responsible for the effective and sustainable execution of operational support strategies.
The Vice President, Central Operations is also responsible for providing cost and efficiency analysis for operations projects within the company strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Set overall direction and guiding principles for central operations functions, to enable team members to provide ‘Best in Class’ customer care and store operations in meeting the company financial objectives.
· Approve standards for store labor efficiencies, Central Operations excellence, facilities maintenance and condition, and safety and loss prevention.
· Lead the Operations teams in the understanding and compliance with safety and loss prevention laws and regulations.
· Develop and lead all Central Operation company strategic objectives with a focus on priorities, idea generation, business case, selection, execution, benefits realization.
· Implement systems and processes to ensure strategic resource management integration into the project selection process, to include the consideration for capability and capacity elements of resources.
· Monitor and analyze operations strategic plans execution across all business units of the company; support business owners with strategic support towards goal and plan completion.
· Hire, develop and retain a talented team of members with focus on excellence in all areas of measured performance to meet or exceed business objectives.
· Provide officers and directors with advice and guidance in identifying the critical problems to which the application of legal principals yields the greatest opportunities for minimizing risks and maximizing profits
· Keep fully informed on all legislation affecting the organization's operations and of all new developments in corporate legal matters, and keep all levels of management informed of applicable new laws and of the progress and results of court cases
