Schedule: Rotating 4 days on-4 days off; 10-hour onsite shift; Weekend availability is required

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000

Lifekind Health is seeking Registered Dietitians to join our team. Participates in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans. Provides advice and counsel on food and nutrition to patients in individual and group settings. 

Job Duties 

• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans 
• Assess patient lifestyle, nutrition, and health needs 
• Assist patients in the development of specific nutrition goals 
• Develop thorough and cost-efficient meal plans that include healthy foods and meet nutritional goals 
• Evaluate the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed 
• Counsel patients on the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases in individual and group settings 
• Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice 
• Keep up with the latest nutritional science research 
• Provide services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations. 
• Prepares and reviews patient histories and obtains data through interviews 
• Maintains detailed, legible and confidential medical records after each patient visit in accordance with established protocols 
• Codes encounter forms according to time of the visit, procedures performed and pertinent ICD-codes 
• Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by company 
• Performs all duties and services in full compliance with Company standards of care as well as all policies and procedures 
• Follows Company Standards of Customer Service Behavior 
• Participates in Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives 
• Complies with Attendance & Punctuality Policy 
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned 

Qualifications 

• Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in California. 
• Recent graduates to 3 years of relevant work experience; Training available
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Effective interpersonal skills. 
• Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferable).
