Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen leadership.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Support banquet service by preparing trays, restocking supplies, and ensuring items are ready on time.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures at all times.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and small equipment as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing deliveries in accordance with kitchen procedures.
- Communicate clearly with team members to help ensure accurate and timely event execution.
- Perform additional support tasks as assigned to meet operational needs.
- Previous experience in a kitchen, banquet, catering, or hospitality environment is helpful but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and remain organized in a busy setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed for kitchen operations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
