POSITION SUMMARY

About the opportunity: The Recruiter will collaborate with Management to source, interview, hire top talent and facilitate the onboarding process. This person will take ownership and develop a strong report with local leadership to determine, support, and execute business staffing needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish recruiting requirements through the following:
- Studying organization plans and objectives.
- Meeting with key business leaders to discuss strategy and staffing needs.
Achieve Staffing objectives by:
- Sourcing, recruiting and evaluating candidates.
- Advising managers as the subject matter expert in recruiting.
Build applicant sources by:
- Researching and contacting community services.
- Cultivating relationships with high schools, universities, colleges, and local training programs.
- Managing employment agencies and external recruiters.
- Working with media and internet sites.
- Providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits as well as making presentations; and maintaining rapport with all external partners.
Determine top candidates by:
- Comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Reviewing application questions.
- Interviewing and analyzing responses.
Coordinate with leadership and hiring managers to schedule additional interviews.
Research and understand recruitment market trends and participate in continuing educational opportunities.
Facilitate new hire orientation/training in conjunction with department managers.
Partner with Human Resources teams to seamlessly transition candidates into the onboarding process.
Additional job duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
2-5 years of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment (hospitality, restaurant or entertainment industry experience preferred)
Experience managing multiple high-volume roles simultaneously.
Ability to listen, collaborate, and problem solve effectively and in a timely manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of relevant laws and compliance standards.
Computer skills and a base knowledge of: Microsoft office products and web-based applications like Skype, Zoom, Teams and other online meeting platforms.
Applicant tracking systems and external job boards.
Familiarity with recruiting and payroll systems (such as ADP or Paycor)
Salary : $57,000 - $62,000
