This role will work to support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control methods on projects and processes. Activities include planning, performing, and documenting assessments of processes against requirements; support the implementation of corrective action plans, analyzing performance data, performing supplier reviews, and developing and implementing procedures.

Responsibilities
- The position will work independently to solve complex problems.
- Team member must be customer focused with a demonstrated expertise and knowledge in Quality Assurance functions.
- The team member must have strong interpersonal skills to team well with others as well as working to build consensus.
- The position requires the team member to interface frequently with quality assurance staff, researchers, managers, and Department of Energy staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in a relevant field with 7 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, Construction, or Industrial Manufacturing OR
- In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma with at least 13 years of multi-disciplined professional Quality Assurance or engineering related experience with increasing levels of responsibility in an operations, maintenance, construction, or manufacturing environment, of which, 8 years must have been in a senior position.
- MS degree in a relevant field with 5 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, Construction or Industrial Manufacturing
- Three years of practical experience in nuclear operations and/or a R&D nuclear facility.
- Current or prior certification as NQA-1 Lead Auditor. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
