Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver effective instruction aligned with Missouri Learning Standards
- Develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians
- Participate in professional development and school activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration
- Valid Missouri teaching certificate in the specified subject area and grade level
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
- Commitment to student success and continuous improvement
- Experience teaching at the secondary level
- Ability to integrate technology into instruction
- Experience with differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching
