Assistant Wrestling Coach, High School

The Savannah R3 School District is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and student-centered individuals to serve as athletic coaches across a variety of sports and grade levels. Coaches are responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and instruction to student-athletes while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement practices, game strategies, and conditioning programs.
• Foster a positive team culture that supports student development both on and off the field.
• Supervise athletes during practices, games, travel, and other team-related activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and administration.
• Comply with all MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association) regulations and district policies.
• Manage team equipment and uniforms responsibly.
• Promote academic achievement and monitor eligibility of student-athletes.
  
  

Employment is contingent on applicant completing and passing a FBI/MHP background check in addition to MSHSAA emergency coaching certification.
