Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to work part-time in our community pharmacy. As a part-time pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, Immunizations and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescriptions
* Provide patient counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication histories and allergies
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and safety
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues
* Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and managing inventory
*Perform immunizations. Ability to perform test/treat a plus
Requirements
* Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice
* Bachelor's degree or Pharm D degree in pharmacy or related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records and pharmacy software
Work Schedule
* Part-time schedule, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week
* Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and one holiday per year
