Position Overview
The Part‐Time Staff Pharmacist will provide clinical and dispensing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and support daily pharmacy workflow. This role is ideal for a pharmacist seeking a consistent part‐time schedule without the high‐pressure environment of large retail chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
- Provide patient counseling and medication education
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
- Ensure compliance with Arkansas Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations
- Perform immunizations (if certified)
- Address DURs, third‐party issues, and clinical interventions
- Assist with inventory management and controlled substance compliance
- Maintain a positive, patient‐centered environment
Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient‐interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workflow
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Immunization certification preferred but not required
