What are the responsibilities and job description for the Timber Frame Designer position at Sauter Timber?
We are looking for an individual capable of designing a Timber Frame It is important to understand the beauty and tradition of the craft while also being up for the challenge of Glulam, CLT and advanced connections.
Requirements:
- Design of timber frames and CLT projects
- Creation of shop drawings and BVX
- Estimating and managing multiple projects including wood and hardware orders
- Communicating with customers
Candidates should have experience in Autocad Architecture and HSBCad (2017 and later), and have a sufficient knowledge of construction details.
Experience in Timber Frame and CNC is a plus.
