What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hand Work and Quality Control position at Sauter Timber?
We are looking for a individual that is interested in being part of the fast growing wood industry. This role would require being part of the pre-fabrication of timber frame and mass timber systems.
Duties would include:
- Hand work on timbers after CNC
- Quality control of all timbers
- Operating a 4-side planner
- Driving forklifts
- Shipping/Receiving
- Inventory
Skills:
Be able to work with an array of hand and power tools used during the fabrication process. Be able to perform general mechanical maintenance.Must be able to work in shifts.
Timber Frame or Construction experience is preferred but not required.
