What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire Technician position at Saunders County Tire?
Saunders County Tire is hiring for a full-time tire technician. Technician will be responsible for repairing, replacing, and maintaining tires on various vehicles, including ag equipment and semi trucks. Experience preferred but willing to train. Responsibilities include:
- Inspect tires to identify repairs needed
- Properly mount and dismount tires securely and without damage
- Flat repairs
- Proper installation of tires and valve stems
- Conduct tire repair service calls
- Properly operate equipment and tools
- Perform tire yard checks for customers
- Load used tires into trailer for disposal
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable
- Willing to work after hours and overtime if needed (especially during key busy seasons)
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
