Summary: We are seeking friendly, energetic, and hospitality-driven individuals to join our team as pool servers at our private country club. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Pool Servers provide food and beverage service to members and guests in the pool area while maintaining the club’s high standards of professionalism and presentation. Pay is $7.25/Hour tips. This is a summer job with potential to be brought on in a more permanent role once pool season ends.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide attentive, courteous, and personalized service to members and guests at the pool area
- Anticipation of member and guest needs
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver orders promptly and check back to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization of tables, chairs, and service stations
- Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills and additional items
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle payments and close checks accurately
- Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth service
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties
- Creating bespoke experiences by delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Complete and comprehensive knowledge of the pool food & drink menu, including any daily features and specials.
- Comply with all safety and health department procedures and state and federal liquor laws. Maintain Company Safety and Sanitation Standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable carrying trays and standing/walking for extended periods
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 30lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in warm weather conditions
