Job Description
Sauder’s Eggs is looking for a Line Leader for our 1st shift Ready-To-Eat production team at the Lancaster – Greenfield Plant Location, Spanish Bilingual desired.
This role is responsible for supervising daily operations of the 1st Shift processing and packaging operations to ensure quality, safety and production goals. Previous food manufacturing experience, inventory management and supervisor skills are desired. This position has opportunities for overtime, personal development and future roles of increasing responsibility.
Work Schedule;
Days - Monday to Friday
Hours - 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Monitor the production level throughout the shift to maintain a balance between quantity and quality
- Follow production schedule to insure all orders are completed
- Communicate order changes to packing line and machine operators
- Lead team to achieving shift and weekly goals
- Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing/quality specifications are met
- Ensures machinery operates efficiently and effectively to meet productivity requirements
- Participates in all production meetings
- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
- Maintains clean floor area
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have good communication and people skills
- Must have basic computer skills and math skills
- Must be able to stand for length of shift and lift 30-40 pounds
- Must wear steel-toed boots and follow good manufacturing procedures
- Bilingual is desired
