What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher for services at Heartwood Charter School Part-Time position at SAU 84?
Up to 25 hours per week to provide special education services in the areas of reading, writing, and math as outlined in the student's IEPs.
This position does require travel between Lancaster Elementary School and Heartwood Public Charter School.
1. Participates as a member of the assigned students’ team in the development/writing of the IEP.
2. Develops IEP goals and short-term objectives for the annual IEP.
3. Prepares written quarterly progress reports on all assigned students and distributes to parents, districts, therapists, and others
authorized; and schedules progress meetings with parents and district representatives.
4. Maintains certification and staff development in accordance with New Hampshire regulations.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
