McKinney-Vento Liaison - Outreach Worker - Part-time Position - Keene School District
The Keene School District is looking for a highly qualified and highly motivated individual to work with the families of our McKinney-Vento eligible students. This is a vital role designed to bridge the gap between our most vulnerable students and the educational stability they deserve. The successful candidate will advocate for students and their families with schools and community organizations. The outreach worker will help acquaint parents with their rights and the services available to their family under the McKinney-Vento act, as well as helping families find stable housing.
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work or a related field is strongly preferred, as is related experience with the target population and a solid understanding of the challenges they face. Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills are a must. This is a part-time position at 25 hours per week.
