Wealth Advisor

Saturna Capital is seeking a motivated Wealth Advisor to help establish and grow our presence in Dallas, TX and the surrounding region. This role focuses on serving high-net-worth individuals and families (investable assets of $1 million ), with a special emphasis on the Muslim community and those seeking Islamic financial solutions. The ideal candidate will blend financial planning expertise, sophisticated wealth management strategies, and an understanding of Islamic financial principles.  

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area 

Wage range: $97,000 - $140,000 

Key Responsibilities 

High-Net-Worth Client Development 

• Source, cultivate and acquire relationships with affluent Muslim professionals, business owners, families and non-profits 
• Develop centers of influence within the high-net-worth Muslim community 
• Partner with financial planners to provide comprehensive financial planning, including retirement, estate, tax, and legacy solutions tailored to Islamic financial principles 
• Educate clients on Sharia-compliant investing, screening processes, and ethical portfolio construction 
• Focus on clients with $1M in investable assets 
• Partner with client's existing tax, legal, and business advisors for comprehensive planning 

Community Engagement & Business Development  

• Identify and participate in exclusive high-net-worth events and private gatherings 
• Develop connections with estate planning attorneys serving the Muslim community 
• Organize private educational seminars for sophisticated investors 

Wealth Management Services  

• Oversee account reviews, performance assessments, and ongoing strategy adjustments to align with both financial and religious objectives 
• Structure Shariah-compliant portfolios in collaboration with portfolio managers
• Guide Islamic estate planning, business succession planning, zakat planning and charitable giving strategies.

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field 
• At least two years of experience in financial services or a related area
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Islamic financial principles 
• Confident, professional interpersonal and communication skills
• SIE, Series 7 and Series 65 licenses (or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment) 
• Ability to engage confidently with high-net-worth individuals 
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements such as a logic test, fingerprints, criminal background and credit check, drug screening and reference check

Preferred Qualifications 

• CFP® designation or near completion
• Experience working with affluent clients 
• Familiarity with the Muslim community 
• Additional languages (Arabic, Urdu, etc.) is a plus 
• Experience in private banking or wealth management
