Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating various machinery, including lathes and stamping presses. This role requires proficiency in CAM programming, blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments to ensure high-quality production standards.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and stamping presses, to produce precision parts.
• Set up machines according to specifications and perform necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Utilize CAM programming to create and modify machine programs as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a factory setting is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
• Proficiency in CAM programming and blueprint reading is essential.
• Familiarity with tooling, precision measuring instruments, and stamping press operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
