Saturn Industries, Inc is a manufacturing company based in Hudson, NY.
We are currently seeking a candidate that is interested in becoming a CNC Machinist. The ideal apprentice would have a mechanical background and would be strong in mathematics. Training would consist of machine setup and operation along with principles of blue print reading, programming and G-Code.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Follow blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece.
- Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain and lubricate machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
