Due to Eagle Contracting's continued growth, we are adding a Safety Specialist to our team. Your first project will be a very large 3 year Waste Water Treatment Plant project in Dallas.

Requirements

• 1 years in safety with a general contractor.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish required.
  
  

The Role You Will Play

• Responsible for jobsite orientation for all site employees
• At a minimum conduct monthly project wide safety meeting for the entire site.
• Responsible for directing and ensuring the correction of identified safety improvements for Eagle Contracting self-perform work areas.
• Be an integral part of the project team and attend all staff meetings.
• Ensure jobsite audits are being conducted by the entire project team and perform them.
• Maintain training records for Eagle Self-Perform crews and initiate and setup continuing training
• Review and ensure compliance with Daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) forms filled out by Eagle Self-Perform and our Subcontractor.
• Employee and subcontractors safety-related meetings and presentations
• Review all accident/incident investigation reports for completeness and accuracy
• Publish lessons learned from near misses, accidents, and incidents
• Oversee walk-through inspections at project sites with project personnel; provide technical guidance and expertise to Project Managers and Superintendents
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and company policies
• Primary contact and responsible for direct communication with OSHA and all safety regulatory agencies
