We’re seeking experienced BAS Technicians to support both service and construction projects in the Central and Southwest Virginia regions. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning, retro-commissioning, and preventative maintenance on HVAC control systems
- Install, program, and commission BAS systems, including GUIs and system integrations
- Upgrade existing BAS platforms from legacy or pneumatic systems
- Diagnose issues related to electrical circuits, field devices, and communication protocols
- Execute preventive maintenance plans using functional testing methods and maintain detailed records
- Respond to service calls and support fellow technicians during installation or upgrade projects
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on BAS experience
- Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (via education or previous experience)
- Strong ability to read and interpret design and construction documents
- Comfortable working in various environments (heights, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures)
- Eligible to obtain a security clearance and pass a background investigation
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable record; ability to operate a company vehicle
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and overtime as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with BAS systems such as Tridium, Alerton, Schneider Electric, Distech, Honeywell, ALC, Invensys, and Trane
- Understanding of IP networks (subnets, routing, NAT, firewalls) is a plus
