Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Operations Technician (NOC) to join our dynamic team. The NOC is is an entry level position that is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting the day-to-day operations of network infrastructure and services. This role involves responding to alerts, diagnosing connectivity and performance issues, escalating problems when necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions. This position offers excellent opportunities for career growth and hands-on experience with enterprise-level network infrastructure. This is a 24/7 operation requiring shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Monitor network performance using network management systems and monitoring tools
- Respond to network alerts and alarms in accordance with established procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain and update network documentation and knowledge base
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Conduct routine system checks and maintenance activities
- Participate in shift rotations to provide 24/7/365 network monitoring coverage
- Collaborate with field technicians and provide remote support when needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical coursework, certifications, or equivalent experience equivalent to one year in a technical support or networking role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and cooling solutions used in large data center environments.
- Familiarity with mining software and monitoring tools (CGMiner, Bitmain Antminer Toolkit, etc.)
- Ability to solve problems independently, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Periodic desk work and computer use to complete reporting and administrative tasks in office environment.
- Work performed in industrial data center/mining facility environments with exposure to loud noise, high-heat environments, air particulates from equipment and facility operations, and varying/extreme weather conditions.
- Work may require standing or walking for extended periods and lifting/carrying equipment weighing 30–50 lbs.
- Adherence all company safety guidelines and OSHA standards for electrical hazard mitigation, fire safety, and personal protective equipment protocols.
- May be required to work weekends, nights, or be on call as a regular part of the job.
Travel:
- 10 % - Travel anticipated for this role.
